So... This is ink.arnation, a forum designed for writers to get feedback from willing readers over the internet.
The goal is for all kinds of writers from all genres and all levels of writing to come together in one place and post their stories for others to read. Readers here are encouraged to post comments on the story threads, but of course... there has to be SOME moderation, or this forum would be complete chaos.
Here's some things about ink.arnation (and me):
- ink.arnation was created on December 18, 2008, at 10:36 PM
- it took three tries to find a name for the forum
- this forum is hosted on forumotion.com
- this forum utilizes IPB (Invision Power Board)
- ... this forum needs a header and a better color scheme, as of 6 Jan 2009 (I unfortunately... stink at Photoshop)
- ink.arnation has ranks for those who want to go for it. Here they are:

And, no, you didn't read that last one wrong. (and yes, I know it's crazy)
- ink.arnation has a "reputation" meter, located below your name when you post. Only mods, super mods, and admins can change this value, but it will increase over time. Good comments are a +1 to that stat, but bad comments/flaming/spam are a -1 to your reputation. Default is 50, so it is possible to have lower than 50. (though I certainly hope no one does!) When you hit 0, you'll get banned. (yes, it IS cumulative over time, so don't think it resets every month)
- There's also a competition each month for the Member of the Month spot. The first person to reach 20 MoM points, or whoever has the most points at the end of the month, becomes the next Member of the Month. However, the mod powers only last 1 month, and you can't be Member of the Month for more than 2 months in a row. (share the privileges...)
- ink.arnation is meant for you to have some fun in. Don't despise other users, they're human beings and have feelings, too.
- the Off-topic section is meant for you to have fun in. It's set up so that it's (hopefully) easy to find something you like to do.
- I'm still creating (better) pictures to represent your rank, please hold on while I fail (miserably) at Photoshop. I had to use the default cruddy pictures, which look like complete and utter crap on top of the color scheme... *sigh* more work for me to do...

There is a RPG game involving writers and writing in the making right now on the site, so please stand by while it is set up. I'm still experimenting with things, so PLEASE be patient. It probably won't be up for a while.
